Leaves013   One from a series of compositions made with only dried leaves and translucent vellum paper. The illusion of falling or fallen leaves is a common theme in most of this body of work. . I approach these works as a painter, composing them on a flat horizontal surface. For these I use a modified flatbed scanner as the primary capture device.
