Dali and Me
Once a client who owns two of my appropriations pieces asked if I had done anything that appropriated or made fun of Dali. I said no but agreed to look at more of Dali's work to see if I saw something interesting to work with. Imagine my surprise to find his 1937 "The Ants." It reminded me so much of my 2013 piece "Holiday Feast" that I had to show them together
